MANCHESTER- On September 20th, 2019 Bowers Elementary School hosted their annual Touch-A-Truck event. Ambulance Service of Manchester EMT’s Philip Zetterstrom and Danielle Kamenskiy gave tours to the students and treated a special patient, “Chompers” the Yard Goats mascot.
MANCHESTER- On September 11th, 2017 Bowers Elementary School hosted a 9/11 tribute honoring victims and family members, as well as, police, fire and EMS personnel affected by the 2001 attack. Employees from the Ambulance Service of Manchester were invited to attend the ceremony along with other members of the first responder community in Manchester.
MANCHESTER — On April 29, 2016 ASM’s Ryan Bochman and Cody Lemire attended Bowers Elementary School 3rd Annual Career Day to talk to the children about ambulances, Paramedics and EMTs, and medical emergencies.
MANCHESTER — In April 2014 ASM’s Ted Oliver and Stephanie Boutot attended Bowers Elementary School Career Day to talk to the children about ambulances, Paramedics and EMTs, and medical emergencies.
The Career Day team wrote to ASM to say thank you. An excerpt reads, “Please accept our warmest thank you for volunteering your time to be a part of our Bowers School Career Day! The day was full of wonderful people like you, positive messages, and appreciative students and staff members.”
