He became certified as an\u00a0Emergency Medical Technician through Code One Training Solutions in the Spring of 2009, took a tactical EMS program in the Summer and started at ASM in October of 2009. Mike&#8217;s main influence to get into EMS came from his family who are in the medical profession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mike completed his\u00a0paramedic program and licensure through Capital Community College, finishing in October 2011.
