The full precepting phase can take ten to 12 weeks or more as the paramedic is prepped for the realities of the field.\u00a0As with all precepting phases at ASM, Steeve\u2019s final approval came from Eastern Connecticut Health Network after shadowing Steeve\u00a0and his preceptor in the field as they responded to emergency calls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #373737; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Steeve\u00a0started at ASM as an EMT-Basic in 2012 and\u00a0graduated from the\u00a0<a style=\"color: #001a6f;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ccc.commnet.edu\/dpHealthParamed.htm\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Capital Community College Paramedic Program.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #373737; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On behalf of the ASM Family, we would like to wish Steeve\u00a0the best of luck and say we are very proud to have such skilled professionals on staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANCHESTER \u2013As of August 21, 2014, ASM\u2019s Steeve Parent\u00a0has been cleared by Eastern Connecticut Health Network medical control for independent dispatch as a paramedic to the towns that ASM serves.
