Students were able to tour\u00a0the ambulance and ask questions about careers in Emergency Medical Services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to organizer Danielle Donahue, &#8220;It was a great day for students to learn more about different career paths and to really start thinking about how what they are doing in school right now will make a difference in years to come.\u00a0\u00a0Each one of you did an awesome job and I am thrilled with the excitement I overheard in the hallway and classrooms on Friday afternoon. \u00a0Some students had never had the opportunity to look inside a police cruiser or ambulance before.\u00a0 I could go on and on about all the wonderful things that our students said.\u00a0 The expressions on their faces\u00a0along with their memories and experiences\u00a0of this day\u00a0are\u00a0priceless.&#8221;<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EAST HARTFORD &#8212; On May 29, 2015 ASM&#8217;s Laura McHugh and Kyle Baker attended and presented at the combined Career and Community Helpers Day at Pitkin School in East Hartford.
