\"Aetna<\/a>STAFFORD\u00a0\u2014 During June\u00a02015, ASM\u00a0Paramedics\u00a0Jonathan Lentini, and Greg Derosier\u00a0responded to a medical call in Stafford with Stafford Ambulance<\/a>. The EKG was indicative of a STEMI and Jon\u00a0wirelessly transmitted the 12-lead EKG to Hartford\u00a0Hospital, activating their cardiac catherization lab from the field. (#15-46694). The following are comments provided by Hartford Hospital\u2019s Dr. Marcin Dada with some acronyms and patient information removed:<\/p>\n

Today’s STEMI: Stafford to Hartford Hospital TOTAL Ischemia time 73 min !!!<\/p>\n

Congratulations everyone!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This patient was brought from Stafford to HH by ASM and Stafford Ambulance\u00a0(pre hospital ECG was sent and communicated to the ED attending: Drs. Dufel\/Price and Cath Lab was activated).<\/p>\n

Highlight: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>We utilized the quick registration where the EMS team was met at the triage and the patient was brought straight to the Cath Lab.<\/p>\n

In a nut shell: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"STEMI<\/a> \"STEMI<\/a>1) HH D2B Time = 30 min<\/strong><\/p>\n

2) Total Ischemia Time = \u00a073 min<\/strong> \u00a0(goal <90 min [1st Medical Contact in the field to Open Artery Time in the Cath Lab]<\/p>\n

3) 100% mid-RCA –> 2 DES (TIMI III Flow)<\/p>\n

In particular, we would like to recognize the following teams:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) HH Cath Team<\/strong> – Dr Hirst; D. Jordan, T Schrimer<\/p>\n

2) HH ER Team<\/strong> – Drs Dufel, Price and Tilden, and the rest of the clinical team (I am sure we missed many as this was a quick triage)<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0EMS\u00a0team : G. Derosier and J. Lentini and the Stafford crew.<\/strong><\/p>\n
