HARTFORD\u00a0\u2013 \u00a0As of August 21,\u00a02015, Aetna\u2019s Eric Thepsiri\u00a0has been cleared by Hartford Hospital\u00a0medical control for independent dispatch as a paramedic to the towns that Aetna serves.<\/p>\n
Eric\u00a0started at Aetna in March of 2015\u00a0and\u00a0graduated from the\u00a0Hartford Hospital-Goodwin College\u00a0Paramedic Program.<\/a>\u00a0His\u00a0preceptor was\u00a0Paramedic Matt Campbell.\u00a0The full precepting phase can take ten to 12 weeks or more as the paramedic is prepped for the realities of the field.\u00a0Eric\u00a0started in EMS at 16. \u00a0He is currently\u00a0continuing his education at UConn with an eye towards medical school.<\/p>\n As with all precepting phases at Aetna, Eric\u2019s final approval came from Hartford Hospital\u00a0after shadowing him\u00a0and his preceptor in the field as they responded to emergency calls.<\/p>\n On behalf of the Aetna Family, we would like to wish Eric the best of luck and say we are very proud to have such skilled professionals on staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" HARTFORD\u00a0\u2013 \u00a0As of August 21,\u00a02015, Aetna\u2019s Eric Thepsiri\u00a0has been cleared by Hartford Hospital\u00a0medical control for independent dispatch as a paramedic to the towns that Aetna serves.
