HARTFORD COURANT –\u00a0Jesse Leavenworth<\/p>\n

Sharon Vanover needed good news.<\/p>\n

On July 30 in Stafford, a car with an allegedly drunk driver at the wheel crushed Vanover’s right leg as she rode on the back of husband Mark Vanover’s motorcycle. Recovery will be long and painful, and the Vanovers said they had to close one of their two day-care centers this week because Sharon cannot manage the business.<\/p>\n

In a card written to the crewmembers, Sharon writes,<\/p>\n

“Dear Al, Nick, Sean and All the members of the Ambulance Service of Manchester, Mark and I can never thank you all enough for your kindness and generosity. You made all of my rides to the hospital, rehab center and especially the concert comforting and safe. You all have beautiful souls and generous hearts. Again, thank you just doesn’t seem enough. I have to say I’m grateful for each of you and my life is more blessed because of you.”<\/p>\n
