The event marked the opening of the facility\u2019s veteran care program, the first of its kind in the region for both short and long-term care. The flag retirement was conducted by veterans and first responders, a significant moment for Kayla, who is who is to receive her commission as a Medical Officer in the Army National Guard this coming August.
