Nick\nstarted at Aetna in June of 2017 and graduated from New Britain EMS Academy\u2019s\nParamedic Program. His preceptor was Paramedic Matthew Carter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.asm-aetna.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Nicolas-Caisse-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9853\" width=\"507\" height=\"492\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As with all precepting phases at Aetna, Nick\u2019s\nfinal approval came from Hartford Hospital&nbsp;after shadowing him&nbsp;and his\npreceptor in the field as they responded to emergency calls.
