Manchester High Students Get Ready for NREMT

Manchester High School students Ciera Moore and Liya Jose practice for the NREMT with ASM’s Sean Norton. Ambulance Service of Manchester and Manchester Fire-Rescue-EMS created this program last year with the cooperation with the Manchester Board of Education with the intent of bring more qualified and diversified candidates into the world of Emergency Medical Service.   This year’s class offered unique challenges due to the pandemic and the students were able to successfully switch to an online class format and complete their course work.  By the end of June the class will be testing for their NREMT EMT certification.
